    Job Title – Analytics Manager (6 month Maternity cover)

    Location – Southwark Street, London


    The Team

    Hall & Partners UK Analytics currently consists of the Analytics Practice Director, two Analytics Directors and an Analyst.  With an increasing emphasis on offering solid and creative analytic solutions there is a real need to further strengthen our team.

    The projects we deliver are challenging and diverse. We collaborate closely with our qual and quant divisions in the UK, but also across Europe and the world. We work directly with our clients across the consumer and healthcare business and on projects in countries around the globe.

    Responsibilities

    The Role

    Responsible for supervising and conducting advanced analytics and consulting with client and account teams on optimal research design.   Motivating and training more junior members of the team is also an important aspect of the role.

     

    Core Responsibilities

    • Advise external clients and account teams on advanced analytics and research design
    • Lead and conduct advanced analysis to meet our clients’ research and business objectives
    • Contribute directly to presentations as well as proposals and pitch meetings
    • Ensure that analytic projects run on-time and to budget
    • Contribute to the design and delivery of training to account teams
    • Supporting and mentoring junior team members

    Qualifications

    Requirements

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Has 3 to 5 years research agency experience working in marketing analytics. This should include both hands-on running of analysis as well as a strong track record in delivering results directly to clients  
    • Is experienced in proposal writing and delivering the analytics component of new business pitches
    • Is educated to degree level in a quantitative field (statistics, quantitative social science, economics etc.)
    • Has experience consulting with non-statisticians on marketing analytics - is able to communicate complex analytics clearly and in practical language
    • Is experienced in a range of analytics solutions / techniques, with an emphasis on how these can be used for commercial benefit. These could include:  marketing mix modelling, conjoint analysis, segmentation and structural equation modelling
    • Proficiency in SPSS and analytic techniques such as correspondence analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis and regression is a must. VBA macro writing skills are desirable
    • Has solid experience working with consumer research data
    • Works well in a team and are focussed on developing others
    • Is passionate about brands and marketing communications
    • Is a bright and imaginative thinker not afraid to voice his/her opinions
    • Is enthusiastic and proactive and enjoys challenges

     

    Overall we are looking for someone who can work both in a team and independently, and brings strong analytics skills to life for the benefit of our clients.
