    Responsibilities

    Role

     

    The Strategy Director role is a key role in our business transformation. You will lead a small team on a range of client accounts. You work in close partnership with clients using our frameworks and tools to ensure clear advice is always delivered. You revel in the role of coach and inspire your team to think holistically about client problems, using innovative methods to gather, distil and inspire. You focus on upskilling your team and ensure they adopt new tools and methodologies to stay ahead. You will have client revenue targets to achieve and will be actively involved in new business pitches. Experience in blended research approaches (e.g. qual, quant, mobile, social listening) is a must.

    We are looking for proactive, positive strategic leaders who have a determination to drive growth and deliver exciting client solutions. We are open to a variety of backgrounds and need someone who can deliver across a broad spectrum of projects.

     

    Core responsibilities

    Act as a consultant with clients, providing them with clear advice to help them with business challenges.

    Champion our digital transformation in a local office or business area driving our new way of working through the Hub.

    Identify and build new business opportunities with new and existing clients. Can represent Hall & Partners in client meetings to discuss new business opportunities.

    Line manage a team and help the Strategic Director to ensure the team acquire the skills needed to deliver our strategy through coaching, training and on the job learning.

    Initiate new ways of working, technologies and methodologies across client accounts including the Hub, Adapt, Social Reading and Annalect, Tempo, Rapid, Living Lens.

    Be actively involved in pitches and presentations, can deliver the story in a clear and inspiring way.

    Oversee the team’s output, coaching the team to ensure quality and that our thinking and tools are used.

    Show passion for the evolving media landscape, the role of digital and the H&P products, confident integrating digital into solutions proposed to clients.

    Collaborate with other H&P divisions as needed to deliver outstanding and unexpected business solutions on both new pitches and continued client relationships. 

    Actively network and stay up to date with developments in our industry and beyond, identifying and actioning new ways of doing things.

     

    Has significant experience in brand and communications research

    Has managed large scale global tracking programmes and advertising campaign evaluations

    Has experience of multiple types of market research studies across the product lifecycle, such as brand tracking, customer experience, shopper insights, consumer loyalty, and segmentation

     

    Has extensive experience working on fuel and convenience retail categories

     

    Has client-facing and client-side experience

     

    Has successfully navigated a highly politically driven client dynamic, across local and global teams

     

    Is highly literate and numerate with strong analytical skills and a good eye for detail

     

    Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

     

    Has experience in coaching and mentoring more junior team members

     

    Has excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyMultilingual (ideally with German, Polish, Russian language skills), and has experience working in different markets in and outside of Europe

     

    Bachelor’s Degree, MBA Degree a plus
