As a Group Strategy Director, you’ll play a key leadership role in our business. You will lead a team and take ownership for several key accounts, reporting into a Partner. You are commercially focused, growing your business with new clients and revenue streams.
Experienced in building meaningful relationships, you work in close partnership with clients to provide them with indispensable strategic advice. You revel in the role of coach and lead your team to think holistically about client problems, using varied and innovative methods to gather insight to advise them on solutions. You provide clear direction to your team, ensuring they are empowered to deliver and have opportunities to learn, stretch and grow in their roles.
We are looking for proactive, positive strategic leaders who can inspire and lead teams to deliver our business vision. We are open to a variety of backgrounds including strategists, planners, researchers and marketers.
Acts as a senior strategic consultant with clients, providing them with innovative strategic solutions to business challenges and advising them around their overall brand strategy based on breadth of experience.
Leads client relationships and has strong relationships, meeting regularly to ensure that they are receiving great service and identifying opportunities to surprise and delight.
Consistently identifies and wins new business opportunities with existing and new clients. Accountable for revenue generation and financial management.
Inspires and directs a team and ensures that projects and strategic business goals are delivered to a high standard.
Is responsible for managing resourcing across clients and projects. Establishes and drives a talent plan for how the team will acquire new skills needed to achieve the business vision.
Acts as a role model for the office and broader business, setting the standard for behaviour and living our values. Lives and breathes the business strategy and tools, helping the team to bring them to life in their work.
Leads the pitch process on specific clients, ensuring only the highest quality work is presented.
Oversees the delivery of high quality client presentations, contributing ideas and direction.
Designs, understands and sells insight programs, knows the partners within Omnicom who can support.
Understands the evolving media landscape, the role of digital and the H&P products, able to have a digital conversation with clients and position our offer to them.
Seamlessly fuses multiple data sources (e.g. social media/media spend/qual & quant) to provide one coherent story focused on answering business questions.
Integrates analytics techniques to answer business questions for clients.
Innovates, creating new products or offers and champions them with the business.
Collaborates with other H&P divisions/specialisms as needed to deliver outstanding and unexpected business solutions on both new pitches and continued client relationships.
Actively networks and stays up to date with developments in our industry and beyond, identifying and actioning new ways of doing things.
