    Location – Central London

     

    Who we are

     

    Hall & Partners started in London in 1992 and the US in 1997 (first in NY, then adding offices in LA and Chicago) and has since grown rapidly, consistently and profitably.  Our work involves consumer, business to business and healthcare research covering all stages of brand building from strategic brand development through creative development, segmentation work, copy testing and tracking. We are currently expanding what we offer into new areas including digital, NPD, analytics and customer experience, as well as growing our international capabilities.

     

    We are part of Omnicom and regularly collaborate within the group to ensure we constantly evolve our offering and strengthen the breadth of our expertise.

    Hall & Partners Health has been a key part of the wider H&P growth. Since the Health team was launched by Abigail Stuart in 1999 it has grown to a very successful business of 85 people in our Europe and US offices with a total yearly revenue of ca £28 million.  Abigail is now the Global CEO of Health and works with Hannah Mann to oversee and grow the team in Europe.

     

    There are currently around 40 people in the Health team in London – a mixture of all levels of researcher and a crack team of project managers. Though we all have our favourite clients, we tend to work across a variety with different team members. Our ideal researcher works well with others, can juggle multiple projects & clients, and is great at managing their time.

    We have preferred vendor status with many of the large pharmaceutical clients and have 7 clients with a value of $1 million plus.  Our ambition is to continue to grow at our current rapid rate and to become the number one agency offering insight based consultancy.  We are an ambitious and collaborative team and are looking for someone with a similar outlook and desire to succeed.

    What we do

     

    We work with a broad range of clients, predominantly pharmaceutical companies, from around the world. Name a pharma company, chances are we’ve worked with them. Most of our work is international, and not just EU5; we regularly conduct research far and wide – from Australia to Japan and back again.

    We conduct all types of research – both qualitative and quantitative, alongside our growing workshop & consultancy offering. Most of our work is ad-hoc, though we also run a few large tracking studies and ongoing programmes of research.

    Typical project topics include market exploration, patient journeys, concept testing and eliciting emotional insights. We also pride ourselves in the additional, added value consultancy we are able to offer alongside our research. Almost all of our studies are focused on prescription drugs and our respondents are mainly doctors or patients.

    We are always keen to try new things in the Health team, and aim to always give anything a go. This innovative spirit means that we rarely do ‘simple’ projects any more.  Most of our work is strategic and we always have multiple workshops ongoing at any one time.

     

    Responsibilities include:

     

    Act as an expert to support researchers and other project management team members in methodology, Bidding, suitability of locations, facilities and sampling logistics in both the domestic and international Arenas.

    Provide costs for new business proposals or existing projects

     

    Maintain and update databases of recommended field partners and contribute to managing suppliers’ best practice

     

    Project set up and management

     

    Cover full project management; including not just the research team and the suppliers, but also by liaising professionally with clients and taking a key role in the external facing project team by taking the lead on updating the client on fieldwork.

     

    Provide expertise and proactive guidance as to how to be as operationally efficient as possible

     

    Add general value to the operations and research teams

     

    Supporting the wider team with any training and implementing operational initiatives

     

    Ability to liaise professionally with clients, including taking a key role in status meetings, updating the client on fieldwork, timelines, deliverables, etc.

     

    Experience needed for the role:

     

    The role combines strong communication skills, coordinating and negotiating skills, forward planning, solution focussed and an ability to continually want to please.  More specifically:

     

    Experience in project management in a market research environment, including field set up and management, screener design, change management, schedule management, Facility and web streaming set up.

     

    Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence others within areas of responsibility.

     

    Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while sticking to deadlines and achieving high quality of output.

     

    Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and project and time management.

     

    Familiar with multiple types of studies, Ethnography, workshops, Detail aid testing, Concept Testing, pre testing, etc.

     

    Experienced working with a range of methodologies, particularly with face to face, telephone, digital and online.”

     

    Ability to champion methodological choices with clients and teammates and identify potential pitfalls in clients’ briefs/requests and question those.

     

    Previous experience in helping with the implementation of best practice processes

     

    Experience of and comfort with managing fieldwork, facility and web streaming suppliers.

     

    Has a presence in the PM team especially amongst junior team; looks for ways to interact with other teams and departments within H&P.
