We have an exciting opportunity for a Strategist to join our team. You’ll be responsible for controlling a range of projects and client accounts by managing suppliers, analyzing and interpreting data and providing engaging, actionable insights for our clients. You will have responsibility for managing interns. The directors and Partners will also involve you in business development and will expect you to contribute to proposal development.
We love to experiment in our approach and delivery, and we’re looking for someone who is energized by this. While this role will focus primarily on qualitative research, a keen interest in blended research approaches is a must.
You’ll need to be proactive and have excellent organizational skills to respond to a wide range of client requests and challenges. This role will be perfect for someone who loves getting under the skin of brands to passionately and confidently deliver the latest insight stories for our clients.
Manage positive day to day client relationships.
Develop a strong awareness of the client’s business, including press coverage, their media laydown and digital strategy and previous projects, research and campaigns.
Identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
Support and coach junior members of the team, helping them to learn, stretch and grow.
Understand our strategy and embraces new products, technologies and methodologies in client work.
Assist in the preparation of pitches, contributing charts, research or other information. Presents sections of a presentation in client meetings.
Develop a strong understanding of different research methods and which to apply.
Master key research skills including drafting and managing the execution of qualitative discussion guides; presenting data clearly and accurately; planning and undertaking complex analysis; interpreting data and preparing summaries.
We work across therapeutic categories including oncology, infectious disease, diabetes, autoimmune disease, diagnostics, vaccines, etc. A good candidate doesn’t need experience with all of these, but oncology experience is a plus and a curious mind is an important quality. We want a Strategist who is a quick study and a strong writer.
Experience moderating individual interviews or focus groups with physicians, nurses and patients/consumers is strongly preferred but not required, as the right candidate would be trained to moderate
Manage and optimize timelines for research projects, proactively trouble shooting and collaborating with experts as needed. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all phases of a project.
Write clear and inspiring insight stories for clients using data support.
Work collaboratively with the PM to implement efficiencies and increase automation on accounts.
5+ years of experience in pharma qualitative research moderating individual interviews or focus groups with physicians, nurses and patients/consumers.
Shows a strong understanding of the evolving media and consumer landscape knowledgeable about how to use various types of data to answer business questions.
Strong management skills. Able to lead and prioritise to deliver outstanding quality on time and coach team members to do so.
Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
Highly motivated and driven, with a hunger to win and grow our business.
Able to travel occasionally as the job requires.
Courageous. Proactive, gets involved and makes decisions when needed.
Creative. Demonstrates a love of people and brands, steps outside the ordinary to surprise and delight clients. A problem solver, thinking pragmatically to make the complex simple.
